I was looking at several on eBay the other day for around $1500 - $2000, burt of course they didn't belong to Charlie Pride...maybe.

They are really nice instruments, but I think my absolute max would be around $2 grand, with factory case.

Just me, though...

There are several '66 TLs on gbase that are going for between $4,289 to $7,889. Ebay is about the same. Maybe your is high but I don't think old mark is incorrect about $2k being the max one should pay for one of these. Great if you can find them at that price but I think the market is more in the $4k to $5k range. My buddy use to have about 4 of them for sale, but I am not sure if he has any left. I can ask him if you want.

I think a 60's Trini for 2k is very optimistic. I have been following Trinis for the last 2 years and I haven't seen any under 4k.

But if you find, go for it or let me know. It could be the deal of the year.
