Real or Fake Gibson SG Special?

This Gibson is for sale but I have suspicions about whether it's the real deal or not. I was wondering what your views are.
The photos aren't great and I can't get any better ones.
I may be wrong in thinking it's a fake, but never know

What makes you concerned about it? To me everything points to it being a run of the mill SG Faded. Not that that's a bad thing, these Faded's are great guitars! What is the asking price??

Looks like a real worn/faded SG to me.

The price is £170 ($267), that was the main reason why I was thinking it was a fake. Think I'll be buying this now after the response I've read, thanks for the replies.

Snatch it up! That's a great price! I got mine for $410 with a couple cables and original gig bag and I thought I got a great deal....

Just FYI if he was playing it in drop C tuning (CGCFAD) then he may have been using thicker strings so it may need a setup if you go back to using lighter strings.

Its real. 3 piece headstock wings give it away. Every fake on the market is cut from a one piece headstock because most cheap labor cant bond the wings correctly.

Just check out the grain difference on the wings of the headstock. That is the quickest way to spot the subtleties.

the faded is an economy model SG they usually only make fakes of the higher end models
