anyone have the Townshend 50th ann white SG
I purchased one of those but have an issue of the 1st E " sliding" off the 1,2 and 3 frets due to the placement ( or cut) of the nut, is this a factory flaw? or are they all like that....My music store that I got it from has another one in one of there other stores so It will be here next week to see if that one has the same problem...if it does I may just get an SG classic but I am hoping the new one will be better as I really do like the white one for feel...anyone else have this issue

Re: anyone have the Townshend 50th ann white SG
That doesn't look right. And if it's slipping off that's definitely not right! The store should redo the nut for you easy enough, especially if you like everything else about the instrument. Should be no problem and an easy fix for the store to make a customer happy with his purchase. I would go ask that they do that for you. Or if you're like alot of folks who like a "slippery" nut of graphite or similar anyway... it might be a good time to just go ahead and have them install one of those for you... making a point that they are sure NOT to do the spacing to where that problem persists.
