High(er) Res Pics of my Midtown Standard w/ Bigsby - Pic Heavy

Hey, everyone!

I know this is a bit late, but I've FINALLY gotten a hold of a decent camera to take pics of my Midtown Standard with Bigsby. My photography skills are kinda... horrible, but I did promise pics. Unfortunately, it's really difficult to photograph the grain of the maple top on this guitar. But hey, you get the idea.

Besides, I can't let the guys with the Midtown Customs have ALL the fun!

This guitar was one of the first runs of the Midtown, which included the Rosewood fingerboards. They've now switched over to black richlite, like the Midtown Customs... although this is probably the darkest rosewood board I've ever seen.

The mahogany back of the body appears to be one piece. Can anyone else verify this?

You can easily see each piece of the 3-piece top in this one. The middle and bottom portion (or upper bout, depending on how you look at it) are bookmatched. You can't see it in the pics, but there is a "knot" that is mirrored in each piece of the woods, somewhat near the neck pickup.

And, of course, the obligatory self pic.

Looks killer! Was the Bigsby factory-installed? Do you know what kind of roller bridge that is? I'm looking for one to go with a bigsby I'm putting on a V. Thanks!

The proportions remind me a bit of a Hamer Newport, although the white plastics remind me of the recent offerings from Collings. It's definitely a looker!
