I'm diggin' this. Seems like a cool option for those who want to move into the 335 realm, but don't want the full-bodied 335, or the 339 for that matter.

Maybe I'm cynical but with all the new synthetic and baked fingerboards, how easy will it be to refret? Some of us keep our gits for a long time.

Just bought the Vintage sunburst today.Awesome guitar .The neck is one of the best I ever played.Much nicer than the 335 they had .The finish is stunning to say the least.The back of the neck is light and goes to black where the the bottom of the headstock starts and gradually turns to the lighter color.It sounds as good as it plays.The top is a solid maple cap instead of laminated veneer. The fretboard feels just as nice as any I have ever felt .

Yeah , picked it up last week.It sounds great.Not quite like a 335.I would say half way in between a 335 and a lp.Still woody sounding like semi hollow though.Plenty of sustain.

So far I've only seen (and played) the Ebony in person, but I'm waiting for the local stores to get the Vintage Sunburst before making my decision. That VSB looks very tempting, indeed!
