Anybody use Rolph's in an SG?
Hey everyone,
So I've finally, after a long painstaking sifting process, decided on a set of Rolph pickups. I've emailed them and they replied in 2 seconds, and seem to be very polite. After reading up on these puppies, I'm just going to take the leap of faith. So that brings me to my main question... Who has Rolph's in an SG? What kind did you get (57,58,59...)? How do you like them? Thanks |

Re: Anybody use Rolph's in an SG?
Not sure if you're still looking, however I DID find this Youtube clip. Apparently a 2008 SG with the description:
Here is some relatively low volume playing with my 2008 Gibson SG Standard - with Jim Rolph '59 Humbucking Pickups - running through an all original 1969 Fender Princeton Reverb. The Rolph pickups have really improved the tone of the SG. -Cheers |
