Re: gibson/ epiphone spirit

I've got one and really like it. Mine has the Epi logo. They were both made in the Kalamazoo factor. Some got Gibson logs and others got Epi logs. Mine has some mild flame on the top. Basically it is like a DC Les Paul Special with Humbuckers instead of P90's and body binding.

Re: gibson/ epiphone spirit

what do you think about this one ?

i think she's got this old school punk look i really like !!!

how does it sounds ? more like a junior dc ? a little bit of this LP tone ?

but the guy ask 650€ for that... around 1000$... i think it's a bit expensive... keep it mind that the music market in EU i really expensive in general...

Re: gibson/ epiphone spirit

looks very nice... but a bit expensive... as i said... we don't have a wide choice here... i don't want to put 650€ (1000$) in it ! but i'm sure this guy will find someone who will !

if i spend 650€ in a guitar, i will for a gordon smith GS2 that worth this price (more than this gibson spirit IMO)

Re: gibson/ epiphone spirit

Very PRS-ish look! Did Paul rip off that design or vice versa? Was it a pure coincidence?

Re: gibson/ epiphone spirit

Actually the double cut has been around way before PRS surfaced, as they had the double cut jr. and special a long time ago.

I know for sure the regular double cut has been out for a while, but I'm talking about the spirit double cut, which has a bigger left horn as how the PRS's are made.
