Ngd! Cs-336
I got this yesterday.
![]() My camera is rubbish, but I have tried to capture to top as best I can. It's even more stunning in the flesh, the grain really pops. Tangerine Burst. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I also grabbed some Grovers off the rack when I bought the guitar, but now realise the headstock needs reeming because it has the Deluxe Tuners. Not sure whether to put the Grovers on or not?

Re: Ngd! Cs-336
hmmm. I've been thinking about it all day and still can't decide. I put grovers on my LP (18:1 rotomatics) and prefer them over the Klusons. The grovers I have for the CS are tulip style knobs and I think 14:1 ratio? they came in the Gibson packaging.
If the holes are reemed out to the correct diameter and depth, the mod is reversible, I could put the stock items back on if I ever wanted to. I would not do the reeming myself, I would have a guitar tech to it.

Re: Ngd! Cs-336
Can anyone help me pin down the specs of the CS-336?
Specifically, is the tailpiece the light weight alluminium version and is the wiring vintage spec with bumble bee caps?

Re: Ngd! Cs-336
I did add the Grovers, I am pleased I did, they look and feel much better than the Klusons.
