Epiphone Emporor Swingster vs Gretch G5120
Hi all,
I'm in the market for a hollowbody and I checked out a few guitars that I really liked. It comes down to these two models: The Epiphone Emporor Swingster and the Gretch G5120. They are both about the same size and weight. They both have a nice sound unplugged. On an amp the sound is real nice on the Gretch but the Epiphone has more versatility IMO. I would like to hear some of your opinions. Please let me know what you think. |

I feel the evil inside me stirring!
But I really like the Swingster too. It is also versatile and can be played unplugged. |

Re: Epiphone Emporor Swingster vs Gretch G5120
Well, the evil finally won the battle. I gave in and bought a brand new Epiphone Lucille. I was looking at the hollowbodies and there were just too many that I liked. Everytime I saw a new one, I added it to the list of possibilities. The Lucille was a simple choice. As soon as I played one I wanted it.
