1961 Deluxe!!

You gotta love it when people have no idea what they own, or the basic knowledge of Les Pauls, kinda reminds me of this place:

It's pretty ugly IMO. Plus if it really is a "1961" or before that, why the hell would anyone floyd it?

So Epi verification expert would even wonder if there is a 1961 Deluxe? (or before that)?

Deluxes came out in 1969.

Deluxes came out in 1969.

That's why I put 1961 in quotes... I don't know a whole lot about the different models Gibson offered in vintage guitars, but I do know they stopped LP production in 1960.

Yeah, wouldn't a "61" actually be an SG?

There was at least one Burst and a handful of old style Customs made in 61. There have been slab bodied Specials and Juniors made as late as 62. But yes, generally speaking the 61 would normally be a SG body, which came out in late 1960.

not necessarily and there are 1960 SG's as well.
