Hmm That Moustache headstock , the body cut Somethin just looks and feels off about that guitar Mighta just been a bad day at the Gibson plant, A QA half asleep at the job, Gibson stopped putting out Factory Seconds long ago

I thought all supremes had ebony fingerboards as well...

well.. you know what.. it doesn't look fake.. looks more like wrong labelling.. it doesn't look like a desert burst.. kinda tobacco-burst-ish to me..

what do you think?

That I wasnt aware of, Check the Gibson site for current features? I dunno Just lookin at the pics I got this feel I was lookin at a Korean or CHines guitar with a Gibson Headstock and forged imprint serials even if I could see

If you read the whole thing, it actually states that it is a "Chinese version" of a Les Paul Supreme. Of course after he puts "Gibson USA" on it!

Oh really ya I see it at a second glance - I didn't see it at first, and obvioulsy the buyer didn't notice. I emailed him.

I emailed ebay and gibson about it, as well as the buyer...

The seller was banking on someone missing the fine print. Its still ripping someone off when under the rest of the description he's talking about gibson this and gibson that..

As well wouldn't this still be selling a fake? It doesn't clearly sake its a fake, and it has Gibson USA on the back and probably a fake seiral number. I don't care what the seller had is his descrption, you can't sell bootleg DVD's on ebay either...

exactly not to mention the made in usa stamp and yes Gibson in big letters everywhere Chinese copy in very small print , Welp If the buyer IS a lawyer hes got a fraud case to win . I Cant stand dishonest and underhanded F**ks like that

I don't know, as log as you have an ebay account and are logged it, it should let you.

It actually would be considered counterfit, and you can't sell such items on ebay.

Damn... I could tell it was a fake immediately, but I think it helps that I've owned probably 20 Gibson Les Pauls in my lifetime... I feel bad for anybody who gets ripped off on EGAY on this sort of thing. I hope that seller gets banned and sued accordingly.

There are so many things wrong with that guitar. The stickers on the pickups are a dead giveaway, the input jack plate is too small (and should be Gold)for a Supreme, binding over the frets, and the frets should aslo be gold.
