'm sure it's real.

I would have a few questions if I were gonna bid.
For instance ( and it could just be the photo ) it looks like the non aniline dye
from a late 60. Or maybe it's just never faded, which would explain why the tuner buttons look brand new. I'd love to see if the flame pops from different angles. I have to see if I can find other pictures in one of my books.

Maybe they kept it in a case all this time?
My budy has a 59 Strat like that he just
keeps it in the case, changes the strings now
and then, polishes it up and puts it back in the
closet.

But for that much money, i would expect the guy
to drive it to my house in a limo!

Definitly a case queen, or one found under a bed or in a closet

Beats out the last good burst I saw on Ebay, lasted bout four days, somebody grabbed and did the Buy It Now for $350.000. and that Burst had some real sweet flame, was a faded Ice Tea
