Here's my friend's Slash USA up for sale on ebay.

Slash Les Paul Standard One of only 1600. - eBay (item 180268155207 end time Jul-28-08 09:48:04 PDT)

It's like he says it is: barely played. Bought from the Raleigh Sam Ash. Despite my best efforts to convince him he's doing the wrong thing, he's selling in favor of a future R6 goldtop.

He's a forum member with light posting so he didn't want to spam the board, but I'm putting it on here anyway cause I know the guitar and it's awesome. If I had some reason to need two, I'd have gotten it before it hit the street.

my point exactly! hell, you can probably avoid paypal too. anyway, i plan on showing him my LPC 58 Goldtop tonight recently acquired from LPCollector via this very forum (but sadly after it hit the bay), so that Slash reserve may even go down a bit.

yeah..low post count, but I don't want to pollute the board with a bunch of "wow that's a nice guitar"....or ..."yeah! buy it" type stuff.

Awesome forum and clearly going to cost me a lot of money.

Stay tuned for Slash VOS that might get kicked off the island to make room for the '56 VOS.

I bought the Epi too, I can't get over how much heavier the Epi is and how much bigger the neck is than my standard. Now I just need to get the VOS and I'll have the whole set. I hope you get what your wanting for it.

I was told the epi had the long tennon, but not the US models. That was major point Sam Ash used to try to get me to complete the set. But, I don't know anything on it for certain.
