Townshend SG

According to Pete Townshend Owned 1967 Gibson SG Special Guitar - eBay (item 220244298204 end time Jun-13-08 21:27:52 PDT) Townshend broke this guitar and threw it into the audience...

wow, trouble is unless you saw who caught the thing youve really no way of knowing if its real or not short of finding townsends fingerprints on it...

It could be legit, townshend loved the sound of hte P90 equipped SG's (and he broke so many of them) that he literally bought every one in the UK he could get his hands on when Gibson stopped producing the P90 versions, he loved this guitar.

Trouble is this could also just be joe bloggs with a broken headstock - they were/are real easy to break - didnt greg have one to repair recently??
