Re: show your sexy deluxe`s
I've said it before and I'll say again: John, if there ever comes a time when this guitar needs a new home, let me know...

Re: show your sexy deluxe`s
Moff,
Why don'tcha save your Canadian dollars and get over to the UK meet next May. You can then play the shit out of it, if you wish.

Re: show your sexy deluxe`s
Couldn't find the good pic of my '71 Deluxe. It was my 1st Les Paul. I bought it for 450 for my 21st birthday present to myself with my taz return in 1984. Did I know what a pancake body was ? Did I give hoot? Hell No! It was a Les Paul and it rocked
It had been Scholz'd when I got it ,DiMarzio Super Dist in the bridge. But I wanted some of them soapbar pickups (didn't know they number designation at the time......) Alan Hamel of Fender Custom Shop fame was the repairman in a store in San Bernardino at the time ,he made tight ring to cover the humbucking rout and in went the p-90s Somewhere around here is a good pic I had one of them '72 SG Specials with the mini hums ,mine was re-fin'd. I still have the pickups ,kinda bright ,big ceramic mags underneath This pic is from my (swingin) bachelor pad Natchez MS 1989
