70's Custom sunburst
Went into a vintage guitar store in Stockholm today looking for a 70's Custom. The guy had one in stock which he said was a '78. It had a pancacke body and if I am not mistaken the pancacke ceased in '77. The headstock was repaired (quite nicely done) it was refreted and the serial number was illegible. Asking price was 16 500 sek approx $ 2 360. Would any of you gamble on that guitar at that price?

Even considering the higher prices we have to pay in Europe, this is still a bit high for a guitar that had a broken headstock.

Re: 70's Custom sunburst
Remember that you will not only have to deal with the risks of shipping, carrying on a plane or stowing in the hold but you'll also have to pay a customs charge on the way back. Something to think about.
