My first post. I have one more question. With my guitar.
I have a question Fingerboard Rosewood used on 1977 LPS. We will know whether it is the kind of Rosewood. I apologize if the question is ridiculous. But a friend asked me and I can not answer this question. We need to get help from friends in hope.
I'm not good at English. I'm sorry if the language confusing. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks: ฝากรูป Last edited by sryche13; 03-31-2012 at 08:10 AM. |

You're welcome.
Gibson stopped using Brazilian rosewood regularly in the 1960s. They occasionally put it on limited-edition guitars, but I'm pretty sure yours is Indian. It's a pretty guit you've got there. |

Very nice LP sryche and welcome to the MLPF!
P.S. Thump knows what he's talking about, so you can be pretty confident that he's right.

Awesome guitar. I love the modern Les Pauls that make such a statement with their top. They may never have the cache' a '59 Burst has, but what does? They have their own mojo that I very much appreciate..

Re: My first post. I have one more question. With my guitar.
Hi Everyone in thread. I just know it started MLPF I find information about the 1977 les paul standard guitar before I bought it. 1977 this is not my first les paul, I can say that among the people I know. No one ever talks about norlin era because they had no knowledge about the history of it. They just do not sound it is. Been damaged or not. What has changed a bit. I do wonder a little about me and my friends did not recognize. And I hope that everyone in this story I would recommend that I do not know.

Hey sryche, HB's another guy that knows of what he speaks as well and Rob seems like an all-around good guy. You'll learn a lot from them.
