Pictures of the Original Ace Budokan

Bill Baker was nice enough to send me a few of his pictures..

He also said that Ace's guitar had the the wire routing exposed under the middle pickup.. So, a few of the Aged guitars are not correct..

I thought it was odd that the aged wasn't routed. More and more its obvious the VOS was the way to go.

why does the reissue have that big round spot of wear on the top and the original dont? Was it refinned?

And if that is the original, what is this one Ace is holding in his left hand in this photo:

If this was/is in fact the budokan...then where is the flamed center piece of maple on the budokan like the pic (gibson version):

These pics were taken in the late 80's, Gibson replicated the guitar as it was in 2011.

thats what I assumed..but I can barely see one...maybe a little something on the bottom left.
