Epiphone Korina V

hey anyone try one of these guys out?

i played one at a sam ash for about 15 minutes and liked it but that isn't much time

i am sorta on a V or maybe a SG kick right now but I am not in a rush if that makes sense

Re: Epiphone Korina V

I haven't played one but I'd save up for the Gibby. The Korina is just a veneer top and won't really affect the tone - if you look closely at the edge of Epi's natural finished Korina guitars you can see the bodies are 99% mahogany.

Re: Epiphone Korina V

I played one at GC last year and I was impressed by the way the neck felt ,long.wide, smooth along with great action!

The one I played at Sam Ass sounded pretty good IMHO.

I want either a V or a SG or an explorer LOL

If the quality of my black Epiphone '67 V is any indicator, the '58 is probably a right nice guitar, if you can get a deal on one.
