They really are cheesy, FWIW. I have seen those budget FA guitars where they literally fall apart, like fingerboards popping off and such.

I got to play Paul's single cut LP Jr a few years back. He lives near a music store that I frequent, and the owner let me check out the guitar while it was in for some minor repairs.

If I buy it, it will be pretty much strictly fan fodder, nothing I'd really play hardly at all.
