I don't know, seems some people bash this guitar because they see it as a substitute to (say) a Strat. Well, there is no substitute for a Strat. If you want a Strat, buy a Strat. The 513 is its own thing. It's not a Strat and it's not a Les Paul, it's a 513. That's how I look at it. I've been completely floored with this thing since I got it. It's amazing how one guitar can cover so many different tones...and they all sound great. I've only had it for a short while and I'm still learning it but I definitely recommend trying one out. It has a nice, medium-thick sized neck. Not exactly comparable to a Les Paul but I'd say it's near the thickness of a newer LP Custom. Get a load of this. ![]()

Re: Ngd - prs
man that is nice. PRS are nice, never have played a bad USA model. I knew you would get one of those one day. I have a custom 24 20th anniversary one-piece quilt top and a McCarty Korina. Both have brazilian rosewood..I love the fat tone on the McCarty..

Re: Ngd - prs
Yeah, so did I.
Didn't take me long but I'm buying a second PRS next week! What do the pickups sound like? Here's a quick & good demonstration. Jump to around 2 minutes into the video if you just want to hear it.
