PRS Custom 22!

Hey guys,

I wanted to say I scored a 2000 CU22 in mint shape. I love this guitar, I can't stop playing it. I haven't played my LP or SG since buying this axe.

I can't get over the extreme comfort and the rich tone, it is really warm and full sounding in stock form.

Just thought I'd mention.

Rich

Re: PRS Custom 22!

PRS makes quality axes no doubt about it but we need...

Nice score especially considering PRS is discontinuing Custom 22's and 24's!

Get em' while you still can!

Re: PRS Custom 22!

Very nice looking axe. I know what you mean about not playing your other guitars. I have a '94. Always stays in tune. I hardly touch my '77 LP anymore. Here are a few demos of that axe through a TC Electronics Nova System.

Re: PRS Custom 22!

Awesome guitar! I´m also a recently converted PRS fanboy. My McCarty plays much better than my other customshop guitars.

Congratulations on a great score - the Cu22 is already a classic! Nice color on that one!

Re: PRS Custom 22!

It is a standard 10 top Custom 22 (2000) with Dragon IIs. I might throw in some Guitar Force pickups or Rio Grandes. I had a McCarty for two years but it didn't do it for me and competed with my LP too much. I find the Cu22 vibes better with me and the notes seem tighter than they did on my McCarty.

I've also got a black cherry 10-top Custom 22. For me, it's the best playing guitar I've ever played, much less owned.

Re: PRS Custom 22!

congrats on the awesome axe.

I really wish PRS would put out the Custom 24 and 22's with a Tuneomatic and Stop tailpiece option.

Very pretty!

It reminds me of Orianthi Panagaris's "Pepper"

Very nice looking PRS... somehow the colours look good on a PRS.
