My New (to me at least) MIM Tele!

Last August for my B'day an old friend got me a gift card from a not so local music store! I finally got down there yesterday and picked up an 02-03 MIM Tele for $225 plus tax! Still have a few bucks left on the gift card too! It's bone stock and was previously owned by a young blond girl who wanted to but never learned to play! It's pretty clean. Got a pretty flat fretboard radius that I'm not sure I can live with! It reminds me of a Peavey Reaktor I used to own only the Peavey had a better radius. I didn't own that long either! I'm gonna do a set up and put .010 gage strings on it and play it for a few weeks before I decide if I want to move it along!

Here 'tis

The two best things you can do now is to change the bridge and tuners. then you'll have a good guitar.

I think you're right! I have noticed that the high E-string tuner is a little messed up! You have to turn it a bit before it starts to turn the string shaft! Almost a full turn and a half before the pitch starts to change! I always tune UP to pitch from the flat side. I think it's more stable that way!

If I decide to keep it those upgrades will be high on my list along with PUP's and electronics!
