Xaviere XV-620

So, I was looking on the GFS website, and found this beauty:

(Yes it's PINK!)
But, how good is the quality of this guitar?
Comparable to Squier? or even MiM?
Because i heard a lot of good things about Xaviere.
So yeah, that's what i want to know!
Thanks.

Re: Xaviere XV-620

I like the GFS pickups a lot, especially for the price! I've seen one Xaviere guitar and it was a blem. But based on tone and playability, it was absolutely worth the price.

I think you're probably looking at close to MIM quality with Xaviere. But you can't really beat the prices.

Re: Xaviere XV-620

Close to MIM quality in my opinion. I had an Xaviere Strat copy (XV-870) and it was a great sounding and playing guitar; I just couldn't get used to the feel of a strat!

My main guitar is a Xaviere XV-500. I love it. I also have an XV-650 and it's a monster.

Re: Xaviere XV-620

I really dig a nicely aged fender shell pink, that ones a little to fluffy for my tastes though.

Re: Xaviere XV-620

How are the tuners on the Xaviere Tele's? Any good or should I change them out soon if I'd get one?

Re: Xaviere XV-620

If you're planning on gigging with the guitar, change the tuners right away. They are very loose and one of the ones on my Xaviere was slipping. They'll keep you in tune if you're playing around the house, but I didn't feel comfortable using them onstage.

That's the ONLY problem I had with the guitar...everything else was fine!
