My new ESP EC-1000!!! **Pics Inside**
I've wanted one of these for SO LONG!!!
I even managed to find one in Amber Sunburst with Seymour Duncans! The Sunburst is the only finish that was available with the Seymours, all of the others had an EMG 81/60 set in them. Both are good choices, you really can't go wrong. But, for what I do the Seymours are better. The only bad thing is I had to sell my Epi Les Paul Custom to get it. Which sucks, because I may never come across a clean Korean Epi again... But hopefully the next time I go to purchase something with Les Paul on the headstock, I can swing for the Gibson, or an Epi Elitist. She was a good guitar though, and I'll miss her... But its time to move on. Maybe the girl I'm selling it to will decide she wants to sell it, then I'll buy it back for less than I sold it for hahaha. From a business stand-point I am coming out pretty good, bought it for $200, selling it for a cool $450. For $500, I got the guitar (which has a Bill Lawrence pick-up in the bridge), an ESP hard-shell case, the Seymour Duncan JB from the bridge position, and DiMarzio strap-locks. I think thats a pretty good deal. ***Also, if anybody would be interested in BUYING the Bill Lawrence pick-up let me know. I plan on putting the JB back in... I think. Anyways... ON WITH THE PICS!!! ![]() ![]()

R means it was made in Korea, 05 means it's a 2005 model.
It's nice, but the black pickup ring looks a bit out of place. In my own opinion, the 400+ level LTDs are nicer guitars than the Epiphones. Nice score, dood! |

I wish that was a zebra Bill Lawrence pick-up, its like the guy who put it on there wanted to make it stand-out from the rest of the guitar. I personally want it to flow and look elegant. I wish I knew more than the beginning of it the #. Thanks for helping me out though man! |

I want to get Zebras, BUT I don't know if I want to go through the trouble of replacing the one thats in there for the sake of aesthetics. I guess it would be worth it in the end though.
The bridge pick-up is gonna be a Zebra though, for sure. |

IM me about the pickup. I might be willing to buy if the price is right. I want BL Zebra's myself to put in my Zebrawood. I also want a black BL to try out in my Explorer. Let me know.

Nice guitar, I am still a bit interested in ones of the black one with the EMG's in it. Now, if the folks at ESP would ever return my calls....

And not to start a war, but personally, I think the ESP is a lot higher quality than the majority of the guitars in its price range. Seriously, the only other guitar I would rather have is a Gibson Les Paul Double-Cut Pro. |
