I played one the other day. There not bad for the money, could have used a better set up. the action was high for my taste. They also come with a gig bag rather than a hard shell.

I just had the Custom Shop make me a guitar and I got it about a week ago and man this thing is sweet. Charvel is doing some great work these days.

I played one last week, a San Dimas style 1 with the Duncans. Have to say it sounded great, and it played OK. Could have used a truss rod tweak to play even better. I thought it was a excellent guitar for the money. I think I am going to buy one before the end of the year.

If that was the style guitar I was looking for, I'd just assume take that $999 and build a parts mutt.
This way there's no compromise ... I can get the body style I want, a neck built to my exact specs, my own prefered electronics and pickup configuration, etc ...

I'm just say'n.

I believe Sweetwater music also carries them. Kinda surprised to see Charvel making guitars at that price!

Plays FAST. Sounds LOUD. 80's TONE!

You can get black ones cheaper than color ones if you know who to ask...

AMAZING DEAL for a USA guitar.
