Re: So... guess what I just bought (pics inside)

We get to hear her as soon as I get her, I think Can't wait to hear what kind of ZZ Top tones I get out of her through the Mini Z!

Thanks for the kind words. I am very excited.

Here's the specs sheet:

What do you think of the inlays and the wood-bound neck?

BTW, this is the back of the headstock:

Re: So... guess what I just bought (pics inside)

the attention to details is amazing -

the block inlay and wood binding on the neck ... the headstock shape and finish ... the way he used the wood covers on the back and matched the grain in the mahogany ... the finish on the maple cap ... i know i said it twice before but every time i look at these pics i keep saying ... wow !

really looking forward to a demo video -

Re: So... guess what I just bought (pics inside)

Thanks guys. I am hoping that this guitar will take care of my LP-like needs.

Where did I find her? She found me

The guy who owned it sent me a message, saying that by the looks of it, I liked luthier-built guitars. He wanted to know if I had an interest in that one.

I did

That's gorgeous!! I like the offset inlays - my main acoustic has offsets, although they're just simple little MOP dots.

Absolutely amazing--I hope you'll put some clips of it on your three-chord "lessons" site so we can hear it! Everything about it is beautiful, but the top is just eye-popping jaw-dropping gorgeous!
