Official MLP Meet: Philly Guitar Show, November 7 & 8, 2009

If you are a guitar player, a guitar collector, or just a fan,
you won’t want to miss the Fall Philly Guitar Show this
weekend.

This two day event will be filled with Guitars and Amps
of every Make and Model.
Dealers, Luthiers, and accessories of all kinds.

Toped off by the first every MyLesPaul Forum Booth!

Our Members are going all out and all in, with
some of their best Guitars at the show for display. One of a
kind Guitars, that are rarely shown to the public. An opportunity
to meet with the Forum Members and Moderators, Sponsors,
and even a chance our Administrator will make an appearance!

The fun starts at 10:00 am both days!

November 7 & 8, 2009 (THIS WEEKEND)

Show Times:
Saturday: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Meeting Place: The MyLesPaul Forum Members Booth



Check in and Sign up.

You will have to have your guitar “Checked in” at the entrance
to the show, where you will be given a tag that must stay with
the guitar. The tag proves your ownership, and your guitar will
be checked out when you leave.
Also, please sign in at the MyLesPaul Members Booth, and
get a name tag.


Displaying your Guitars.

Your guitar is your responsibility.
While I’m sure any Forum member at the booth will be
happy to look after everything while you take in the show.
Neither the Show, The MyLesPaul Forum, or any forum
member, accepts responsibility or liability for instruments
on display.

There will be various Forum members at the Booth all day.
I am confident that myself, Led Zep Fan, BOBBO, Pat and
PABassPlayer will take turns, and one or more of us will
be at the Booth at all times.


No Buying or Selling permitted at the Members Booth.

Buying and selling of Guitars, and / or Guitar Parts and Accessories
at the Booth is not allowed. If you wish to Buy, Sell or Trade, we
encourage you to see one of the Forum Sponsor Dealers like
Grinning Elk Music Company.

Ray and Lee of Grinning Elk will have Members Only Specials
at the show, so please tell them you are with the MyLesPaul
Forum when you visit their Booth!


Some truly legendary Guitars will be on display!

Forum Members are some of the best known Collectors in the
world today, and we have had many offers from them to bring
their best know guitar for display. Since many of these fine
instruments do not get shown often, this will be a rare
opportunity for you to get a photo of your favorite guitar.
We encourage you to bring your cameras!

I called the Radisson hotel where the guitar show is being held and they are still offering a special rate to those attending the show ... A room was $109 but without the show discount it's more in the $120 to $130 range a night ...

I hope all of our New Jersey members realize how easy
it is to get to the Valley Forge Convention Center. It is
a super easy all Interstate Highway drive. Plenty of
parking at the Convention Center. I am looking forward to
seeing you at the Show!

If my short term memory serves me ... The guitar show area is connected to the Radisson , No ? .... It's the same adddress as the listed site of the show ...

Yeah maybe they messed it up for the site? It says the Scanticon is the host hotel but the radisson is the same address. Whats up with that?

It's a large complex ... There may be more than one hotel located there ... The Scanticon's address is pretty close to the show address ...

I just got back from setting up the Booth, and all I can say is WOW!
It's the big time, boys and girls. Great location, and a big double Booth.



The Hotel is the Radisson, and it is part of the Convention Center Complex.

There will be a limited number of MyLesPaul Name Tags, these will go fast!
I'm not talking "Hello my name is"...they have the MyLesPaul Logo laser
printed on them, and are sure to be a collectable.

I was told that "Get the Led Out" will perform at the show between
1:00 and 2:00 pm, on Saturday. I'm trying to confirm that.

I just spoke to Ray and Lee from Grinning Elk Music.
Their table will be NOTHING BUT Les Paul Guitars.
In honor of the Forum Meet...be sure to stop by.

Well I booked at the other Hotel because the Site said Host hotel. I should've looked at the addresses more carefully. eitherway its right there so its no biggie.
