I'm glad you appreciated it...while it lasted. I was hoping for some healthy commentary on Carlin's philosophy, particularly his brutal honesty.

Sometimes, the only thing an upright individual can say is "fuck you". I'm well known around these parts for saying just that, and in fact people pride themselves on being able to imitate the sardonic inflection I manage to put on the phrase. Maybe I'll record it for you. I don't raise my voice, just say "fuck" in A (open fifth string) and "you" in E (open sixth). Try it!

But I know how it feels to catch oneself having gone on auto-pilot, and it's not comfortable. Like experiencing an earthquake, snow avalanche, or mud-slide. So now when you see me make a post that says nothing but "Mud Slide!", you'll know to what I'm referring.

I don't think anyone whose opinion matters thought any the less of you for getting caught in that avalanche. If they did, "fuck 'em".

I want you to know that your rant of a bit ago did me proud. Right or wrong I didn't feel it appropriate to dig in at that level at that time, though I did try to provide air support. I think it really was the right thing for you to do at the time.

Thank You!! and I accept your friendship!!...I enjoy the forum..it's someplace, NO, A GREAT PLACE, I can go and unwind, alot of people probably think I have a very sick sense of humor, but it is what I have grown up with...alot of this stuff just rattles around in my head 'till it finds a way out...!!!

It's all going pretty well, thanks for asking. I'm glad you got a chance to unwind after all that hard work, you deserve it. I sincerely admire the dedication and self-discipline it must have taken to get through school.

You should go ahead and sell that case and buy a few sets of strings or something. I've got no immediate use for it, and we're out of space at the moment. Apartment life.
