When the Beatles first broke, every DJ in every major coty was called the 'Fifth Beatle' - a guy named Murray The K in New York started it, and before you knew it, there was a 'Fifth Beatle' in Philly, DC, LA, and every other town The Beatles went to and gave interviews to DJs.

pwoznik mentioned that we've rounded up something like 79 'Al Qaeda Number 2s' - and I automatically thought, 'Fifth Beatle.'
