OMG! Absolutely incredible tone combination with the Shaws.

Took your advice and stayed local with Martin Six Strings.
Ordered the short pot '50s wiring harness. Dave up there said this set up should really "release the hounds." I'll keep you posted.

How's the new choppers goin'?

Wanted to let you know the pending deal I had going for the GT doesn't look like it's going to happen. No case and no COA hurt. With the Shaws installed it does sound really good. Does have a volume pot that cuts out and crackles, did you know that? Owner of the Deluxe was willing to give me $2100 for the RI and i'd have to include both sets of pickups. Ouch! Double Ouch! I thought these guitars were worth something. I know you got some offers, were they any good? Curious to hear what they were, especially if someone was willing to buy it outright for a $ figure. Trade offers would be interesting to know too. Just want you to know I'm not complaining, but it may be something I'd like to move and I don't want to post an outrageous sell or trade price for it. Realistic ideas of sell value and trade value would be appreciated and maybe you know someone who would bite. Drop me a line, Scott
