    Vin,

If Moyes has any sense, he'll field the reserve team against BATE and keep the rest of them free from injury.

I had already taken my son to some Everton matches before he went to school. But when he went to school, all his friends were Liverpool supporters, so he turned to the dark side as well!

I have already said England's group is no pushover for them. The USA, as you say, are well capable of beating anyone in that group. And Australia, in their group, could produce a surprise or two.

Should be an interesting World Cup. Jeez I remember standing in Goodison Park in 1966 watching Portugal in a qualifying round game! Time flies!

    Hello John,

It looked like my Heerenveen would become the first Dutch team ever to win on the grass of Sporting Portugal. But in the extra time, the Portuguese put one in. All depends on the matches next week.

You're already in the knockout stage. Do you think Moyes will put on the best players against BATE or keep them on the bench and fresh for the other matches ?

How on earth did you lose your son to the red side! Here in the Netherlands, the Merseyside-derby received some media attention. Mostly because of our Heitinga in the blue shirt and Kuyt and Babel in red. Heitinga and Kuyt will be wearing Orange in South Africa.

Speaking of the World Cup, England should be careful not to underestimate Group C ! The USA surprisingly beat Spain in the semi and put up a good fight against Brazil in the final of the Confederations Cup.
Also, Slovenia didn't keep Russia from qualifying for no reason.

It's going to be a great tournament, I can hardly wait.

    cheers,

    Vincent

It was a great effort tonight, given the injuries that we suffered, and the young lads who were on the pitch.
Losing last Sunday against Liverpool was a bitter pill to swallow. heavily deflected first goal; Billy missed a 'sitter', Jo's goal given offside when he was level (Fellaini was in an offside position but not interfering with play!); bad misses in the second half. At the end my son (who's a Liverpool supporter - the cross I have to bear in life!) admitted that Everton were the better team and did not deserve to lose. Oh well, we'l just have to do better for the rest of the season.

So many injured players and such young players on the field, such appalling results this season in the Premier League. But you Blue Nosers still feckin' did it ! Congratulations !

It's unlikely that my team, SC Heerenveen, will make it though to the next round, so there's no need for you just yet to book a flight to the Netherlands.

    Hey John,

I'd love to see the look on that old gits face when he sees that picture !

Some Yank is selling them, but it's quite expensive for what it really is.
Much like the Yankee F-brand, really.

    Welcome to Jammin' Johns

    Vin,
I want one of those toilet seats! Trouble is, I'd want to shit on the cover, not down the pan!

    Hello John,

I think I've found a way to use F-branded guitars in a way that you approve of.
