Yes I did mention in a thread that I wanted to re-finish my Paul. But you are right, I should leave it as is, and I going to do just that. Thanks V!N for setting me straight.

When the weather cools down here (over 100 today) I plan to drag my guitars and amps outside in natural sunlight, in order to shoot another video.

Hey Joe, thanks for sharing that clip ! It looks like your new camera is really up to the job of making these kind of vids.
The wood used on yours has got some really nice grain to it. I thought yours was a minter but seeing the back of the neck, it looks like it got some serious stage mileage on the clock. Good ! That's what these guitars are for.

Did you mention in a thread that you wanted to give it a respray ? DON'T ! It will loose all its character. It has earned its right to look like this after 31 years of playing.

    Hey V!N,

I shot a video with my new camera yesterday. Being that you are a fellow owner of a '78 "The Paul" I thought that you might like to view it. Hope to make a better one with sound samples later, after I get use to the new camera.

Thanks for the request Joe ! Our The Pauls are great, they have great tone, awesome feeling neck and a comfortable weight. What's not to like ?
