Wow Don, that's an awesome car ! It's good to see you're a real petrol head and know more than just what colour should go on it.

Kids these days with their plastic body kits and DVD players .. They know Jack about the engine or suspension.

You couldn't have picked a better song for your page ! I bet you can't wait to crank it through that Nakamichi.

    Hey Don,

You have a great taste ! Born to be Wild is another awesome driving song.
I never really thought of Bad Case of Loving You as a driving song, but now that you mention it, I can imagine myself putting the pedal down to that song. Great thriving rhythm.

A couple of moments ago, I started a thread about driving songs. This should be a fun subject to talk a bout.

Vin, As much as I love "Radar Love" my all time favorite has to go to "Born to be Wild". I was a young kid in the late 60's so that song always bring me back to a different time.

I think my #3 driving song is "Bad Case of Loving You" by Robert Palmer.

It's a thrill to crank my home stereo when I'm alone and zone out to "Radar Love". Never get enough of it.

    "One more radar lover's gone"

    Hey Don,

Yeah, Radar Love is a great song indeed. Definitely in every of my personal top ten lists and my No. 1 driving song. I too get that extra rush of blood from my ticker pumping faster when the chorus builds up to such an explosion and we're in good company. Mark Spitz was asked once what went through his head when he was in the water, swimming for those epic series of gold medals "just Radar Love" was his reply. It turns out he also trained with that song and even put it on to get the adrenaline pumping before diving in for a race.

Just curious, if this is your No. 2 driving song, than what is your No. 1 ?

    cheers,

    Vin
