Since you seem to be one of the resident experts on Orville guitars, do you think that a Terada made Orville LPC with upgraded pots, jack, switch, and pickups (Duncans) is worth $600 with no case? It seems to be in pretty good condition apart from a bit of a chip taken out of the side of the headstock.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi Uita,

This is my guitar. It was bought originally from Chingo123 in Japan by a chap in Denmark. He then stripped it of it's speed knobs and pickguard and then sold it to me!

I have scraped some of the paint off in the control cavity and took this photo:

Let me know what you think?

    Hi Uita,

I can see your an avid fan of Orville's and Orville by Gibson. I wondered if you could help me?

I have recently purchased an Orville Les Paul Custom 1991 K serial number version. It all looks in order for a 19 year old guitar but there is one thing that is bugging me.

The body wood looks way to light for Mahogany, The neck is cleary mahogany as there is a chip off the headstock which has revealed the wood beneath the paint. I have scrapped some paint away from inside a couple of the cavities to reveal the body wood.

What are your thoughts on this?

    Cheers
