O boy thats a nice one... Its got the regular chevron though, not reverse, all though I sure as hell wouldnt mind that one! But I really wouldnt be suprised if I end up buying one of those in the future. I LOVED yours!

I don't have an extra case, (Sorry). I would have swapped with you.
I have to believe that Gibson not selling a Lifton Reissue case is
temporary. I believe they are in the process of redesigning the case,
and will have a more rugged version available. The old style Lifton
Reissue cases do not protect the guitars very well, and Gibson has
had to do many warranty repairs from the shipping damage.
The demand for the Lifton style Reissue cases remains high, so I
have to think they will start to sell them again. The price that the
old Lifton Reissue cases are bringing is insane. I have seen them
go for $700.00, for a case that doesn't protect your investment!
Original Vintage Lifton cases go for $5000.00.

They were from Dave Carpenters Music Machine. Dave and Edwin Wilson
worked together in 2003 to make the Stinger Series Guitars, sold by Dave at
his store, The Music Machine. Edwin hand selected the wood used in all the
Stinger Series Guitars, and they all came with Brazilian Rosewood Fretboards.
Many of the Stinger Series guitars had special "Stinger Only" specifications.
I have seen Stingers without that case, so I believe the case was an added cost.
It is a regular Custom Shop case, but the outer cover is Tweed, and not that
many were made. Personally, I wouldn't get rid of that case, but it's yours. If
you want a Lifton, I have a mint one I'll trade you for it, I'd love to have it.
