    It ain't exactly the same to be honest. When I play a guitar that really has the punch and sustain it sort of embareses the ol Marauder. It as great for what it did though. I did route out the pickguard and put a Rio Grande texas bucker in the bridge. If you go to my myspace page you can hear what it sounded like live on the Gimme Shelter song. That's the Rio Grande in the Marauder on the first solo and all the rhythm. I switch to the neck in the middle of the outro solo.
    So long is a studio recording. The solos were all cut using the Marauder on the Bill Lawrence neck pickup--most of the rhythm tracks were in the middle position. It's fine for what it is I guess.

    hey bro, how does the marauder sounds compared to a LP ?? Is it a good giggable guitar ?? Hows the sustain ??
