No tariffs, no duties, no fee's, no taxes. From Japan, ebay, from an American serviceman stationed there. He sent it "military mail," and it was delivered to my post office (rural), where I picked it up, no question's asked.
Hi!
Got the guitar and it's a tonal heaven. Very well built and a special guitar. It's different from my other Navigator because it has a soft feel to it which is it's Mojo and makes a significant difference in approach of playing!
I think you made a "killer" deal. I am fairly certain the 480 means 480,000 yen, which means about $4,000 to $5,000 USD. You may have the guitar of a lifetime coming to you! Well done!
Hi. Long time Hope all's well with you.
Quick Update: I've bought another 96 Navigator LSP-480 from a private collector in Denmark for $2500. The guitar is on it's way. He has highly recommended this guitar against Gibson Reissues. What do you think about the deal and that year model?
there's something about seeing a bone-thin Page making love to that Gibson, sweat-soaked, scraggly hair flying, after all, in the end, it's only the music that matters...
