Wow, that's a little beast. Thanks for the heads-up.

Seems OK. If it bothers you I would ask how many pieces of wood it has and what the paint job is like. They can be hit or miss!!!

I've been digging the brown faded studio and the Classic series. (the Traditionals too, actually.)

True, but Gibson really is a separate company. They own Epi but Epi is it's own company.

Kinda like how fender owns Jackson, Charvel, Gretsch, etc.

To be honest I think I'm done buying Epiphones.

LTD or maybe Gibson........(maybe)...but yeah, ...done with Epiphone. I've got 2 good ones and no urge to give them any more of my money.

Honestly I wish I hadn't bought the JB GT (though it's a fine guitar),..I should've put that money towards a Gibby Studio or something else.

I do carry a grudge, hahaha.

    thanks for the kind words.

Gotta admit it was hard watching everyone having HNGD's with those guitars. Literally I had the v3 bookmarked for like 7 months. The week I finally had the money together to get it? It sold out.

Ended up buying the goldtop Bonamassa instead. Which is a good guitar too, but it's not the one I wanted. I wanted the v3 darkburst.

Yup I talked to Jim Rosenberg at Epiphone for a full week. Laid out all the plans, colors, ideas, prices, the case and COA,...everything. Told him the Wilshires should be blue and green as well, instead of just white.

At the end of the week he stopped talking to me, didn't return my next email, never said thank you,...and then a few months later? Out came all the guitars I talked to him about. I wouldn't mind so much had I been able to actually get one of the tobacco burst V3's. That was such a big deal to me because I wanted a tobacco burst with a reddish back and they didn't make one until I talked to him about it.

    Oh well, such is life.

Apparently I made them some good money last year. *shrugs*

    what can ya do? *shrugs*

I do admit there's a part of me that thinks I should've gotten a free or heavily discounted guitar for all my efforts. I literally laid it all out for him with diagrams and everything.
