JW, I know... I should keep the burst but I'm really thinking about old wood these days and looking at the prices of say a 59-60 LP Special DC with two P90s and Brazilian RW can almost be had for what I paid for the burst. I just have a gut feeling that if I sold her and got the right vintage piece I'd be way ahead of the game. Because I firmly believe that the old stuff is going to soon be out of my price range, they've climbed so much lately and I don't know that they will get any cheaper.

hey I saw that you have the OTPG PAFs I was wondering how they sound?

Well the wife tell me she got some ice today but not much, more of a subfreezing mist.

Hell I'm in Salt Lake City, it was 22 today and frikkin snow is ass deep to a tall indian out here JW.

Got my OTPs installed on the R8, wired it up with Luxe Bees, Jonesy matched pots and 50s wiring style. mmmmmm me likey... much better than my other pickups. Wish I were home to play it. I'm here til Friday night.

Other than that I'm good, working too damn hard that's for sure. I posted a few pics of the R8 with the OTPs in her, GOD she looks just like a "cherry" Burst, fuckin sounds like one too.
