Hey man nice burst on your pic. Is that finish the Tobacco or Desert burst? I am in the conundrum of choosing between a standard plus, a traditional and a Standard 2008 and then the colour. Kinda like Ice Tea as well. Want to get it right ya know. Heard alot of negativity about the chambered guitars but the ones I have played held more sustain and had a great tone with the Butstbucker pick ups. Guess I'll keep playing them until one says buy me! Any way enough prattling on. Cheers Nick
hi,what i just posted was my conversation with jonesy.i had the same question as you...
if you have any questions regarding wiring, any at all,ask jonesy.he is the wiring guru.hell of a guy too, cant recommend him enough...
when you have the time bro,do enlighten me on what is goin on in here.
Wow Not Standard 50's or Modern wiring, but those yellow mallory caps are the volume bleed kits and the silver Vitamin Q's are the Tone caps. Those big Orange things marked condenser are tied into Tone Pots but I really don't know how or why?Where did you get that Photo? ehh.if i remember correctly,i got it from either this forum or the ''other'' forum.i know jack about wiring/electronics,but decided to save the pic as it was the coolest looking cavity shot i've seen.kinda like looking under a super car's bonnet and seeing all the high end parts.i love cool looking things!anyway,i tried to find the source but no luck here.is there anyway i could do it?i am a noob at alot of stuff.the computer is one of them.but my curiousity is really ignited now.if even you are not sure about it, i bet its something real special.any ideas?
If I had to guess I would say Inductance coil. the Howard Roberts guitar uses one.
