Where about do you stay in Singapore? What are your music influences?

You would need a small pencil type soldering iron and some rosin core .062 60/40 solder and a pair of small wire cutters.
Basically you would carefully remove pu wires, switch wires and input jack. You should be able to reuse the metal plate. Take your time and make a drawing if you need to remember how it all was put together. There are plenty of diagrams here at MLPF I can walk you through it when you get ready to do it.
