What guitar are you upgrading?

I'm sure the pups upgrade will improve tonal quality over your current pups although I haven't tried them myself. Regarding the Epi Valve Jr, I've heard alot of good compliments about it and I'm sure with a setup like that you'll be good to jam at home. But I'm sure you know that you'll need something extra (eg. pedals) to drive the amp if you need that distorted, face melting tones..
