That's the idea, yes. The fret board widths and radii are pretty much constant.

Those neck measurements sound too big. Did you go all the way 'round the neck, instead of just around the back?

You just take a tape measure and measure from one fret board edge, around the back, to the other. At the 1st, 5th, and 11th threads. In a pinch, just the 5th will do. Short of playing it, it's the only way I can get an idea of what the neck actually feels like.

What's your hand measure, from the horizontal crease on your wrist closest to your hand, to the end of your middle finger?
