Hey; another HOC member here...any others lurking around? Looking forward to hearing about your 157. I've been obsessing about getting one since Brett posted his silverburst. I've even considered trading my Explorer to get one. Let me know if you think it's worth it.

Love the axe in your avatar. Will you tell me a little about it please? Is it still in production? I might be interested in getting a similar model.

    Thanks,
    Marto

Hey Dan, just wanted to compliment you on your videos and your advice as well as inspiration that you have given me as well as others I'm sure, on the quest for the tone you have acquired as well as the "don't give up keep practicing attitude". Since I have been watching your videos you have shown me more about nos tubes and amplifiers and how to get the best tone and sound out of them.I have a marshall jtm 45 reissue head with mercury transformers,nos12AX7& KT66 tubes, metropolous ptp board, 2061x head with mullard el84's, mercury transformers and choke( added extra) both heads run through the 2061x 2x12 cabinet. Also you inspired me to go back to the 65 fender deluxe reverb reissue whick I also modified with mercury transformers, nos tubes, ptp board wired to vintage specs, bright cap clipped on the bright channel as well as a mid control in the back, run through a jensen 100 watt blackbird speaker. Tone to die for! Also thanks for turning me on to the skatterbr anes and the throbaks which I installed in my 335. Thanks again Dan and keep up the great videos and info, Jim Nelson
