Think a marshall stack may be a bit big for the flat. Going to hold off a bit till I get some money together. The VOX AC30 looks pretty decent. I quite want to try the Mesa Boogie express can turn it down to a 5 watt which would be quite decent for the flat.

It's definately a great guitar. Thays funny about the carpet!!! What kind of amp are you using at the moment? I fancy getting a marshall tube amp at some point athough I don't need anything to loud as not playing in a band or anything.

I don't think you have anything to worry about on the case front. How you finding the guitar after the set-up? Considered getting mine set-up, as it made such a difference on my slash, but this one seemed really good out the box.

Glad to hear you like it. What serial number is it?
Do you know much more about the fact it is limited edition? I just assumed (what the shop told me) that they only imported 18 gloss R9 tobaccos to the UK and Europe.
It is an amazing guitar. I traded my Standard in for it and it is far superior. Really fancy a R7 gold top next - but need to get saving!
    Have fun playing.

Think its absolutely amazing, will be posting some pics tomorrow. I now have an epi, gibson slash and custom. Wasn't sure how much of a difference there would be in each case but can def notice a big differnce. The 1959 reissue is amazing. Really glad I got it, so thanks for posting your pics which were a big factor in going for it. Don't think I will be putting the pick guard on!!!
