Hi, I was wondering if your Gem is set up stock? I did'nt like that my neck pickup was louder than the bridge. I had a tech even them out but he raised the bridge, stopbar and thus, the action. He also slanted the bridge pickup to be higher on the bass side. It still sounds good but I'm going to try and re-set it. It looks to me that your stopbar is pretty close to flush with the body and the bridge is raised just a little??
How is your action? Do you get any fret buzz? I realize there are variables like fret wear etc. but mine has very little. Also, do you know if these were produced by the Custom shop? I've heard that rumored. I would'nt doubt it. Obviously good wood, inlays on mine are near perfect, just the whole guitar is sweet!! I prefer the sound to other Les Pauls.

I watch Ebay regularly. Would you like for me to alert you when a clean one pops up? Obviously one that ships overseas. Would you go for other colors? ALL of the glowing reviews on Harmony Central as well as your opinion of the Gem made my mind up to get one (Jan 08). I'm REALLY glad I did. Thanks for your time and God Bless
