Wow, thanks. Really appreciate the offer, that's really generous, but i'm not especially short on cash atm and this hopefully wont be my last build, so i'm gonna buy one.

I just need to wait till i'm actually ready for it - the wife has no problem with me buying all the tools i need, but she gets very cross if i buy things too far in advance. I bought the top, body blank and the neck blank all together and got a big telling off :<

-"And what's this bit?"
+"that's for the neck"
-"And when are you going to start that bit?"
+"Umm.. in a month or two, maybe" [oh dear, i can see where this is going]

Sorry, missed this one. Turns out it everything on it was rusted (no idea how - it's only ever been kept in doors) and the frets are shot too on closer inspection.

I've decided to use it as a rebuild project for when i'm bored. I've started stripping it already :/

Honestly tho, it's a piece of junk you wouldn't want it even if i hadn't already started to wreck it - wasn't great when i bought in 2nd hand over a decade ago and it's not aged well since then!

There'd be so much work and money needed to fix it up it wouldn't be worth your while... I suspect you could get a better one for £50 on ebay.

Hi, just wondered if you were serious about getting rid of your Epi LP that you mentioned in a thread. I'm looking for a "project" guitar for the right price. If you were only joking, no harm done! Cheers, Ian
