I never understood the fat neck worship thing. I fell in love with my thin neck before I knew what a '59 LP was... I guess it all goes back to the worship of the '59 LP as the Holy Grail.

To that I would respond 'you lucky Epi owners!', but then again I am just slightly biased on this issue Thank you Last for contributing to this very worthy endeavour.

Finished the article... meh! Without links to check his sources for the numbers he uses its hard to say. Also, how is he getting his info? Has he actually read the 1200 pages of the bill or is it second hand info like 90% of the bloggers out there?

Actually, I had a rehearsal with the Whitesnake tribute band last night. We're taking part in a benefit show on LI tonight, and we retired to the pub after a long rehearsal.

The band doesn't really play that much any more - the drummer is touring Europe with this or that metal band pretty often and the singer has a gig doing his Coverdale imitation in a show called 'Rock Stars' in Vegas.

So when we do these sporadic shows, rehearsals get extended into a catch-up session for the guys in the band. And there is usually beer and Jameson's involved.

NP. I really enjoy this stupid little camera. Wanted the HD one, but the regular old one works just fine.

What you went through is something that every parent would not want to ever think about let alone experience.
None of us could really say that we would not turn to something to get through the pain, even if the most anti of drug usage.
Now it makes more sense with your posts on certain topics, and the good advice given. I do feel that the ones who themselves have been through it and overcome it, can understand the situation so much better.
I have seen you advise others on many things, and that my dear River is something to be proud of. Those few words could have well done a lot for some. Some hide away, some don;t want to talk about it, but it does take courage to be able to reach out when needed. Whether it is something they want to hear or not.
I don't think you can overdo guitar playing.
