The timing is going to be different. The Animals did it in 6/8 time, the drumming is in 4/4, which is why I did my arps on the demo different. You might make them fit in, its going to be a lot of work.
I've never even tried to play it, and our band didn't cover it (very unusually for the period). I stumbled into how to do the arpeggios on my own last night, then looked this up this morning. I'm going to take a crack at doing them, just for the intro.
